- 01In a medium mixing bowl, add the chopped red onion, minced jalapeño, and lime juice. Stir and let sit for 5 minutes to mellow the onion and infuse the acid.
- 02Add the diced avocado and chopped cilantro to the bowl.
- 03Sprinkle with kosher salt and black pepper.
- 04Gently fold the mixture with a spatula just until combined, keeping the avocado pieces intact.
- 05Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, then serve immediately in a shallow bowl.
