- 01In a large skillet set over medium heat, melt the butter until foamy. Add the brown sugar and stir until the mixture looks like wet sand and bubbles softly.
- 02Lay the banana halves cut side down in the bubbling caramel. Cook for 1-2 minutes, then gently flip and cook another minute until well coated and golden.
- 03Drizzle in the Heinz A1 sauce and sprinkle in the cinnamon. Stir gently to coat the bananas, letting the savory aroma mingle with the caramel.
- 04Remove the pan from heat. Carefully pour in the dark rum, then return to the heat. Ignite with a long lighter, letting the flames burn off the alcohol while swirling the pan gently.
