Instructions

  1. 01
Bring 6 cups of water to a boil in a large pot. Add ramen noodles and cook for 2 minutes, just until barely tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. 02
While noodles cook, prep all veggies and slice hot dogs.
  3. 03
Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high until shimmering. Add sliced hot dogs and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned in spots, about 3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. 04
Add remaining 1 tablespoon vegetable oil to the pan. Toss in carrot, bell pepper, and the white parts of the scallions. Stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes until crisp-tender.
  5. 05
Add garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Stir just until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  6. 06
Return browned hot dogs to the skillet. Add drained ramen noodles.
  7. 07
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, and 2 tablespoons water. Pour over noodle mixture in the pan.
  8. 08
Toss everything well and stir-fry 2 minutes, until sauce thickens and coats noodles.
  9. 09
Drizzle in sesame oil and rice vinegar, tossing to combine.
  10. 10
Remove from heat. Scatter scallion greens, cilantro, and sesame seeds over the top. Serve immediately and enjoy your hot dog ramen upgrade.
