Instructions
- 01Preheat a large skillet over medium heat and drizzle in 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- 02Add the diced chicken patty cubes in a single layer. Cook, turning occasionally, until well browned and crispy on most sides, about 6-8 minutes.
- 03Sprinkle the chicken with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir to coat evenly.
- 04Add the diced whole wheat bread and remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Toss well and continue cooking until the bread cubes are golden and crisp, about 4 minutes.
- 05Taste and season the hash with salt if needed. Remove pan from heat.
- 06Meanwhile, toast the 4 whole slices of bread until deeply golden. Cut each slice diagonally if you want to show off your geometry skills.
- 07Divide the hash among four plates. Top each portion with 1/2 cup shredded lettuce for freshness and crunch.
- 08Serve with toasted bread triangles on the side. Eat immediately while everything is hot and crisp.
