- 01Preheat your oven to 350 F. Generously butter a 2-quart baking dish.
- 02Spread the cubed dinner rolls on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 8 minutes, until just golden.
- 03In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, cream, eggs, Dijon, hot sauce, black pepper, and salt until smooth.
- 04Fold in the cooled dinner roll cubes, leftover mac and cheese, and sliced scallions. Stir to combine, making sure all bread is moistened.
- 05Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes so the bread soaks up the custard.
- 06Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle grated cheddar evenly over the top.
- 07Dot the top with the 2 tablespoons of butter.
- 08Bake, uncovered, for 30-35 minutes, until the pudding is puffed and golden and the center is just set.
- 09Let rest 10 minutes before serving.
