- 01Set a dry skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped mixed nuts and toast, stirring frequently, until fragrant and slightly darkened, about 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
- 02Add the fresh strawberries, frozen bananas, buttermilk, Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract to a blender. Blend on high until thick and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
- 03Add the chia seeds and pulse just to combine. Let sit for 5 minutes to thicken slightly.
- 04Divide the smoothie mixture evenly among four shallow bowls.
